Site-specific covalent conjugation and purification
of His-tagged proteins to DNA
With Dynamic Biosensors´ new site-specific labelling kits His-tagged proteins can be covalently conjugated to DNA in an orientated way with high efficiency.
A comparison of reaction yields from a conjugation of protein A and a 48mer DNA with (right) and without (left) our proprietary guiding DNA method demonstrates not only more site selective conjugation using this method, but also a 50% higher relative yield.

PURE PROTEIN-DNA CONJUGATES
Well-defined protein-DNA conjugates are a very important tool for many bioanalytical applications including immunoassays, imaging techniques and surface bio-functionalization.
While for many of these applications conjugating a single DNA oligo to a specific location of the protein is critical, preparing pure and site-specific bioconjugates can still be a challenging process.
With Dynamic Biosensors´ proFIRE® labelling kits, covalent conjugation of His-tagged proteins to DNA can be carried out in a straightforward, site-selective way with higher efficiency using lower amounts of protein.
