In this second episode we will discuss aptamers and how small molecules can influence their 3D structure. We introduce a biosensor method to screen small molecules binding to nucleic acids. The presented assay provides not only precise kinetic rates of the interaction, but at the same time reveals binding-induced structural changes in the nucleic acids.
